This NT Transaction subcommand was introduced in the NT LAN Manager dialect.

This transaction subcommand allows a client to retrieve the security descriptor for a file.<152> The client MUST provide the FID of the file that is the target of the query. The server MUST query the security descriptor from the file system for the file referred to in FID. The security descriptor is returned in the NT_Trans_Data portion of the transaction response.
