Policy Description Messages are typically used by administrative plug-in to drive a user interface for viewing and editing settings, and are most importantly used to describe the serialization and deserialization of settings to and from the Group Policy: Registry Extension Encoding Message format. There are two formats for these messages: ADM and ADMX.
