2.1 Transport

All messages MUST be transported using a named pipe, as specified in [MS-SMB]. The following pipe name is used:

  • \pipe\CI_SKADS

This protocol uses the underlying SMB named pipe protocol to retrieve the identity of the caller that made the connection, as specified in [MS-SMB] section 2.2.4.9.1. The client MUST set SECURITY_IDENTIFICATION as the ImpersonationLevel in the request to open the named pipe.
