3.2.3 Initialization

During initialization, the following condition MUST be met:

  • The Support Level field is set to one of the values supported in the Diag_Support_Level field in a Connect Response Message (section 2.2.2.2)-specific header. Typical implementations MAY<5> set this field with the value 0x00000002 to indicate support for runtime as well as static diagnostics (section 1.3).
