The Remote Desktop Protocol: Clipboard Virtual Channel Extension is designed to operate over a static virtual channel, as specified in [MS-RDPBCGR] sections 1.3.3, 2.2.6 and 3.1.5.2. The virtual channel name is "CLIPRDR". The Remote Desktop Protocol layer manages the creation, setup, and transmission of data over the virtual channel.
