3.1.5.17 Receiving a SelectStream Response

The client MUST first follow the steps specified in section 3.1.5.3.

If the non-pipelined mode of the protocol is used, the TCP connection on which the SelectStream response was received SHOULD be closed.

Next, the client MUST process the rules in section 3.1.5.2.
