Symptoms
When you open a meeting item in the new Outlook for Mac, Outlook for iOS, or Outlook for Android, you experience the following issues:
The meeting window displays the following message even though the meeting wasn't created in the '(UTC) Monrovia, Reykjavik' time zone:
This meeting was adjusted to reflect the current time zone. It was initially created in the following time zone: (UTC) Monrovia, Reykjavik.
Regardless of your local time zone, the meeting start and end times are in the '(UTC) Monrovia, Reykjavik' time zone.
Cause
The issues occur if a meeting item is created in the Apple iOS Calendar app.
Workaround
To work around the issues, use either of the following methods:
Create meetings by using Outlook on the web, Outlook for Mac, or the new Outlook for Windows.
View meetings in Outlook on the web or the new Outlook for Windows.

Microsoft is researching these issues and will update this article when more information becomes available.
