What is Prior high-water mark (HWM)?
The Prior HWM is the highest previous seat count that exists in the history of a particular tenant and workload.
What are Net paid seats added (NPSAs)?
NPSAs are the net number of paid seats added to a tenant and workload for a given period.
Note
NPSAs can be negative in the case of a reduction in seats (for example, returns or credits).
What are Compensable Units?
Compensable Units are the total incentivized seats for a particular month under the claimed tenant and workload. Compensable Units= Total NPSAs at Tenant and workload - Prior HWM.
My NPSAs need to be higher. What are some troubleshooting steps?
Ensure that there's growth in the number of paid seats from the highest previous count under your claimed workload and tenant. If you believe there's an error in your NPSA calculation, it's likely that:
- The customer had a higher previous count in the history of that tenant and workload.
- Another partner was attached and earned on the growth for that period.
However, if you believe there's an error, contact Partner Center support so that they can review your scenario.
