Business value

Updates provide improvements to the performance of model-driven apps embedded in Microsoft Teams, as well as improvements to navigation and the addition of apps to Teams.

Feature details

With this release, several updates have been made to improve performance while loading, fetching, and updating data for model-driven apps embedded in Teams. State persistence is supported, so users can freely navigate between other conversations and Teams tabs, then return to the same context and screen when navigating back to their model-driven app.

Makers can also use the Add to Teams option in Power Apps to easily add their model-driven apps to Microsoft Teams. They can add directly to Teams or download the app manifest, which can then be uploaded to Teams for personal/team use or submitted to a Teams tenant admin for broader distribution.
