Feature details

Power BI dataflows now support DirectQuery capabilities using the enhanced compute engine to provide self-serve analytics. This will allow designers to quickly set up new reports and dashboards against a single source of truth, as well as prevent the creation of multiple copies of the data source inside Power BI. Finally, this will reduce the orchestration (refresh) and management burden, simplifying connectivity.
