Business value

Understanding and using actual customer interactions with a bot is an important source of insight for any bot author. Knowing how a user is actually using and talking to a bot, and identifying where queries aren't working properly (or what new questions are occurring) are vital in creating a robust, ever-growing bot that is truly helpful for your bot users.

Feature details

In 2021 release wave 1, you'll be able to extract topic suggestions from chat sessions, similar to how you can get topic suggestions from webpages and files.

As users use the bot, it will start to build a list of potential topics, complete with topic phrases and answers. This list is created by the AI in Power Virtual Agents analyzing how users use the bot, where they're getting stuck, and where they're successful.

Just like other topic suggestions capabilities, the bot author can request a list of suggestions, to which Power Virtual Agents will present them with suggested topics for review. The bot author then decides which ones to add to or delete from the bot, and they can edit or modify the new topics as part of the suggestion review process or later for any other topic.
