Business value

By making Power BI available from Outlook and the Office hub, customers will be able to discover and consume data and insights in context. Because customers can discover and act on their data and insights so quickly and easily, this feature helps drive an organizational data culture.

Feature details

Power BI will be fully integrated in Outlook and the Office hub. This includes integrating the entire Power BI personal app, opening Power BI reports attached to emails directly in the context of Outlook, and the ability to easily find and add Power BI adaptive cards to emails.

The Power BI personal app, currently available in Microsoft Teams, will enable users to find, consume, or create Power BI content from Outlook and the Office hub. Additionally, the integration in Outlook will make it easy to find and add Power BI content to email as adaptive cards. Finally, Power BI content included in emails will open within Outlook so users can consume Power BI without the need to change applications.
