Now, Power BI Service will allow users to download reports as a live connected report. This will allow users to treat the service version as the source of the truth and unlocks many authoring scenarios when working with the desktop and the web to make edits.
Feature details
In 2022 release wave 2, Power BI will allow users to save or download a copy of a Power BI report as a live connected report. In several scenarios, you may want to keep the dataset in the Power BI Service but create or adjust the current report. For this, we'll be adding an option to download a PBIX with a live connection to the Power BI Service.
