Business value
Code-first developers will now be able to create both APIs and connectors from within Microsoft Visual Studio, thereby minimizing context switching when developing custom connectors for Microsoft Power Platform.
Feature details
Today, when code-first developers build Microsoft Azure Functions or APIs, they can register such capabilities directly in Azure without having to leave their Visual Studio development environment. Our goal is to extend that capability to allow creation of custom connectors from within Visual Studio without having to leave Visual Studio, thereby allowing a complete end-to-end experience in custom connector development.
