Business value

Improving the productivity and efficiency of makers by reducing the time and effort required to write code manually.

Feature details

Using natural language for code generation is a way of creating formula columns in Power Fx expressions from natural language descriptions, such as English sentences. This can have several purposes, such as:

  • Improving the productivity and efficiency of makers by reducing the time and effort required to write code manually.
  • Enabling non-programmers or novice makers to create or modify code without having to learn a specific programming language or syntax.
  • Enhancing the communication and collaboration between makers and other stakeholders, such as customers, managers, or testers, by using natural language as a common medium to express the requirements and functionality of the system.
  • Facilitating the learning and teaching of programming concepts and skills by providing natural language feedback and guidance to makers.
