This feature significantly reduces the effort and expertise required to wrap Power Apps mobile apps. By eliminating manual Azure configuration steps, you can onboard faster, reduce setup errors, and complete wrapping much easier than before, accelerating app distribution to frontline users.

The Wrap wizard streamlines Azure configuration and app signing by guiding makers through required setup directly in the wizard experience. Customers can select or create an Azure Key Vault and choose an Azure Blob Storage container without leaving the Wrap wizard. The service automatically configures required access, including service principal permissions, reader role assignments, and certificate tagging—removing the need for manual Azure portal steps and environment variable configuration.
Automatic app signing is also simplified. Instead of following multiple external steps, makers can create a Key Vault directly in the wizard and only navigate to the Azure portal to upload certificates. The platform handles all additional setup such as granting wrap service access and configuring certificate metadata.
How this feature works:
- In the Power Apps maker portal, go to Wrap from the left navigation pane.
- Choose your app and follow the Wrap wizard steps.
- In the target platform step, once you select auto-signing ON, configure Azure Key Vault and upload certificates when directed.
- In the Manage output, choose an Azure Blob Storage container directly in the wizard.
- Complete the wrap. These two steps automatically apply required Azure permissions and configurations.
