Introduction

Version 9.2 23043 for Microsoft Dataverse is now available in all regions. This article describes the updates, including the new features, and the fixes to existing functionality, which are included in this update. This version was first made available in preview on April 21 2023, and completed worldwide rollout on May 29 2023.

New features

Delay Rendering of Application Shell

Unified Client application boot loading sequence now prioritizes rendering an interactable page when user boots directly into the Form. This implies that users will see a placeholder shimmer similar to Microsoft 365 products for sitemap and app header when they open the Form in a new browser window for the first time. Overall impact of this change is that user can view and interact with the form sooner.

Fixes and improvements

  • When filtering entities in the "My Active Contact by Relationship" view within the Sales Hub app, the entities could not be filtered from Z to A or A to Z.
  • When adding a new service task to a work order in the Field Service mobile app, the task was not visible in the"Inspection-Work Order Service Task" and "Active Work Order Service Tasks" views.
  • When opening a timeline and switching between tabs in a case entity, the timeline did not load after switching back to the timeline in the Customer Service Workspace.
  • Tracked emails were not tracked within a contact entity record, when using the auto capture manage feature.
