Version 2026.6.3 updates

New features

  • New Power Platform API endpoints to create, update, list, get, and delete agents, and to retrieve agent components in Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Agent operations analytics now provides per‑agent, over‑time overview metrics with updated health reporting as error rate.
  • Analytics classifies customer support session outcomes using an updated set of outcome categories for more detailed reporting.
  • Agent inventory is enabled by default for customers in Government Community Cloud (GCC) and High sovereign cloud environments.
  • The GPT-5 Mini fine‑tuned model is enabled by default and available for selection in the user interface.
  • Analytics reaction counts can be optionally grouped by session to return per‑session breakdowns.

Fixes and improvements

  • Breaking changes: Skill agents now block unsupported reference file types; previously accepted unsupported formats are rejected to ensure only approved document and media formats are included.
  • Governance, access, and sharing: Agent sharing now consistently respects organizational policies (for example, environment‑bound or maker‑connection restrictions); SharePoint site visitors with access can chat with SharePoint‑deployed agents unless restricted by group; transcript viewing is shown and applied per agent based on the oversight roster; scenario configuration overrides are now applied by default on a per‑setting basis for consistent behavior.
  • Publishing and lifecycle: Import‑time publish blocks due to in‑progress solution installations now return a clear user‑facing error; throttled publish errors show the correct wait time in seconds; partially created agent users are automatically cleaned up after publish failures; agents no longer get stuck in a "Deleting" state during solution upgrades; connected agent validation results refresh immediately after issues are fixed; "Execute Agent and Wait V2" fails faster on 409 Conflict.
  • Channels, UX, and data handling: Teams and Microsoft 365 channel consent flows proceed correctly after user action; in Teams voice calls linked to 1:1 chats, SSO sign‑in cards are sent to text chat so calls can continue; adaptive card submissions in Teams group chats no longer stall custom engine agents; DLP policy evaluation treats connector names case‑insensitively; analytics "Other" label is localized with the rest of the labels; Anthropic‑based agents show correct knowledge citations; Microsoft 365 skills and Dataverse knowledge sources correctly use the configured organization URL.
  • Continued improvements to performance and reliability.

Security

  • Access control: Some agents without an agent user are prevented from obtaining access tokens for restricted resources such as Microsoft Graph.
  • Security webhooks can include the agent's Microsoft Entra object ID in payloads to help identify agent identity (field may be absent for some agents).
  • Government cloud: Power Platform API authentication uses federated credentials by default in Government First Release; Azure AI Foundry–based features authenticate correctly across cloud realms, including GCC.
  • Agent365 observability and audit logging no longer require the consent provider check by default across environments, with tenant‑level opt‑out available.
  • Authorization errors when retrieving agent components return HTTP 403 Forbidden instead of HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.
