New Features

  • A new setting, to specify a flow’s preferred screen resolution for unattended runs, has now been introduced under the flow properties in the console.

  • The action ‘If safe stop requested’ has now been introduced, along with a ‘Safe stop’ option, so that users can safely terminate a flow run only after the completion of the respective block of actions.

Enhancements & Improvements

  • The Dataverse issues diagnostic of the Troubleshooter application has been enhanced to support more permission checks, as well as include links to relevant public documentation.

  • Tags and filters are now properly displayed in the Test cases view of the console.

  • The ‘Create a copy’ context option is now supported for test cases on the console.

  • The Power Automate application’s auto-start behavior on Windows startup within the MSIX package has now been disabled.

  • The error message about insufficient permissions in the console has now been enhanced, to include exception details as well as a link to the Troubleshooter’s Dataverse permissions diagnostic.

  • Tag-related permissions have now become optional, so that users with custom roles are still able to view their flows.

  • In the datatable editor, selected columns can now be deleted with the ‘Delete’ key on the keyboard.

  • In the Flow checker panel, rule violations now also come with a suggested fix text.

  • The performance of static analysis has now been further optimized.

  • Some remediation steps have now been added to errors generated by the ‘Take screenshot’ action.

  • The run performance of flows that include many actions with large, nested loops has now improved.

  • In protocol handler (Run URL) runs, the (optional) Boolean parameter displayOutputsDialog has now been introduced, to determine whether the dialog with the flow outputs will be displayed upon flow completion.

  • The performance of the ‘Close web browser’ action has now improved, when a single browser tab is configured to close.

  • Simulated click support for SAP Grid cells in UI automation has now been further extended.

  • The flow context menu icons have been updated.

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues in Power Automate for desktop that are now resolved:

  • A minor issue that occurs while hovering over captured images when using dark mode has now been resolved.

  • A window handle related error, which could occur when trying to edit a desktop flow, has now been resolved.

  • The proper error message is now shown to the user, when the flow designer process is launched while having elevation requirements.

  • An issue where the environment could change unexpectedly when running a flow from a desktop shortcut, causing an exception, has now been resolved.

  • The proper error message is now shown when trying to open a copy of a desktop flow, whose dependencies are still being prepared.

  • An issue with UI element screenshots being visible, even when the search results in the UI elements repository don’t match, has now been resolved.

  • Some navigation issues in the Flow checker panel have now been fixed.

  • An index out of range exception occurring in certain static analysis scenarios has now been resolved.

  • In the Copilot functionality to generate Power Fx expressions through natural language, the Refresh button now lets you actually try another prompt as expected.

  • Flow binaries are now cross-checked with dependencies to prevent malformed flow errors in cloud runs.

  • The error messaging and error handling when an invalid work queue ID is provided in work queue actions has now been fixed.

  • Α parsing error related to deserialization of flows due to an Input Mismatch Exception has now been resolved.

  • An issue relevant to handling exceptions in paging request building for connectors has now been fixed.

  • Empty ‘On block error’ actions are now normally handled as rule violations in static analysis, when the ‘Capture unexpected logic errors’ option is enabled.

  • Datetime values in connector objects are now handled properly, automatically converting the respective string values.

  • When using the recorder, ‘Comment’ and ‘Send keys’ actions are no longer mistakenly added when the user adds a comment in MSAA capturing mode.

  • An issue of duplicate keys in UI elements computer/desktop management has now been resolved.
