Get-CMAccount

Gets a named user account.

Syntax

Get-CMAccount
   [-SiteCode <String>]
   [[-UserName] <String>]
   [-DisableWildcardHandling]
   [-ForceWildcardHandling]
   [<CommonParameters>]

Description

The Get-CMAccount cmdlet gets a Configuration Manager user account. The user name must be in the domain\user format. For more information about Configuration Manager user accounts, see Technical Reference for Accounts Used in Configuration Manager.

Note

Run Configuration Manager cmdlets from the Configuration Manager site drive, for example PS XYZ:\>. For more information, see getting started.

Examples

Example 1: Get a user account by using its name

PS XYZ:\> Get-CMAccount -Name "CONTOSO\ENarvaez"

This command gets a user account.

Parameters

-DisableWildcardHandling

This parameter treats wildcard characters as literal character values. You can't combine it with ForceWildcardHandling.
