Permission type Least privileged permissions Higher privileged permissions
Delegated (work or school account) PeopleSettings.Read.All PeopleSettings.ReadWrite.All
Delegated (personal Microsoft account) Not supported. Not supported.
Application PeopleSettings.Read.All PeopleSettings.ReadWrite.All
