Description

The Reset-AzNetAppFilesCacheSmbPassword cmdlet rotates the SMB machine account password used by the Cache to authenticate to the Active Directory domain. Only meaningful for SMB-enabled (CIFS/DualProtocol) Caches whose parent NetApp Account has Active Directory configured. The cmdlet returns the updated Cache object.

Example 1: Reset the SMB password on a Cache

Resets the SMB machine account password for MyAnfCache and returns the updated Cache object.
