Description

The New-AzApplicationGatewayAdvancedRoutingMap cmdlet creates an advanced routing map. A map contains a list of advanced routing rules and the default backend to use when no rule matches. Associate the map with a request routing rule whose RuleType is AdvancedRouting.

Example 1: Create an advanced routing map with multiple rules

$gateway = Get-AzApplicationGateway -Name "ApplicationGateway01" -ResourceGroupName "ResourceGroup01"
$pool = Get-AzApplicationGatewayBackendAddressPool -ApplicationGateway $gateway -Name "Pool01"
$settings = Get-AzApplicationGatewayBackendHttpSetting -ApplicationGateway $gateway -Name "Settings01"
$map = New-AzApplicationGatewayAdvancedRoutingMap -Name "Map01" -AdvancedRoutingRule $rule1, $rule2 -DefaultBackendAddressPool $pool -DefaultBackendHttpSettings $settings

This command creates an advanced routing map containing two rules, falling back to Pool01 when neither rule matches.
