Set-NAVServerPermissionSet

Changes the Name field of a Business Central permission set.

Description

Permission sets have an ID (or Role ID) field and a descriptive Name field. Use the Set-NAVServerPermissionSet cmdlet to change the Name field of a specific permission set. You use the ID field to identify the permission set that you want to rename. The cmdlet does not change the ID.

Examples

EXAMPLE 1

Set-NAVServerPermissionSet BC -PermissionSetId MySet -PermissionSetName NewName

This example renames the permission set that has the ID 'MySet' to 'NewName'.
