Start-NAVServerInstance

Starts a Dynamics NAV Server instance.

Syntax

Start-NAVServerInstance

Description

The Start-NAVServerInstance cmldet starts a server instance. Once it is started, you will then be able to perform actions on it and its mounted tenants.

The output of this cmdlet is the server information, which can be piped into other cmdlets such as Mount-NAVTenant.

This example uses the Start-NAVServerInstance cmdlet to start a Dynamics NAV Server instance named 'NavServer'. The -Verbose parameter specifies that progress information is to be written to the console.
