Customizing Installation Dialog Boxes in the User Interface Editor

You can customize the appearance of most installation dialog boxes, or change their behavior, by setting dialog box properties.

Note   Although most of the standard installation dialog boxes can be used without modification, custom dialog boxes such as Custom Text 1 should be modified to prevent the user from seeing the design-time default text.

To customize a dialog box

  1. Select a dialog box node in the User Interface Editor.
  2. In the Properties window, edit the available properties.
