New Macro Project Dialog Box

The New Macro Project dialog allows you to create new macro projects. To create a macro project, select a template and choose Open.

You can access the New Macro Project dialog box by right-clicking Macros in the Macro Explorer window and then choosing New Project, or by choosing New Macro Project on the Macros submenu on the Tools menu.

  • Templates
    Displays the macro templates available for your new macro project. The name of the selected template appears at the bottom of the Templates pane.
  • Large icons / Small Icons buttons
    When you click the Large Icons button or press CTRL+SHIFT+L, the templates in this dialog box appear as large icons with the file name underneath. If you the Small Icons button or press CTRL+SHIFT+S, the templates in this dialog appear as small icons with the file name appearing to the right of the icon.
  • Name
    Displays the name of the new macro project. The default name is MacroProjectx, where x is an integer, such as MacroProject1. Numbering begins at one. You can alter the name by clicking in the text box and typing the name you want.
  • Location
    Displays the path where the new macro project will be created. You can alter the path by placing your cursor in the text box and typing the path you want.
