Art Files
You will need to create art files for your skin. There are several types of art files you can create, and they must be in a specific art file format.
The following table describes seven types of art files you can create for your skin.
Art File Type | Description |
Background File | Required. The background is the image upon which all button images are superimposed |
Disabled File | Required. Images used to indicate that pushing buttons will have no effect. |
Pushed File | Required. Defines the images that are displayed when the user pushes buttons. |
Region Files | Defines bitmaps that use color areas to represent the tap-response locations for the hit-type buttons |
Super Files | Defines the Disabled images for trackbars. |
SeekThumb File | Defines an image to use in conjunction with a trackbar to indicate the current position in the media item. |
VolumeThumb File | Defines an image to use in conjunction with a trackbar to indicate the volume control position. |
The following sections provide more information about art files.
