IWMPSubscriptionService::allowCDBurn
Note This section describes functionality designed for use by online stores. Use of this functionality outside the context of an online store is not supported.
The allowCDBurn method is implemented by the online store to manage permission for Windows Media Player to copy premium content to a CD.
Syntax
HRESULT allowCDBurn( HWND hwnd, IWMPPlaylist* pPlaylist, BOOL* pfAllowBurn );
Parameters
hwnd
[in] The handle of the parent window.
pPlaylist
[in/out] Pointer to a playlist object.
pfAllowBurn
[out] Pointer to a BOOL. If true, copying to CD is allowed.
Return Values
The method returns an HRESULT.
Remarks
Your code should not perform lengthy operations synchronously when Windows Media Player calls this method.
Windows Media Player passes allowCDBurn a pointer to a playlist object as a parameter when the user attempts to copy premium content to a CD. The playlist contains only media items from the individual online store that the user has added to the CD writing queue. It is the responsibility of the online store to remove any items from the playlist that should not be copied.
Requirements
Version: Windows Media Player 9 Series or later.
Header: Defined in subscriptionservices.h.
