Setting Push Router Policies
A mobile operator can customize how Smartphone or Pocket PC is configured by specifying support for a particular method of over-the-air (OTA) configuration and provisioning. The mobile operator can specify this support by changing the default policy settings.
The following table shows the supported policies related to the Push Router.
Security Policy | Description |
---|---|
WSP Push policy | Disables the WSP push source. |
Unauthenticated Message policy | Disables the routing of unsigned messages, based on the authentication information provided by the Push Proxy Gateway. |
WAP Signed Message policy | Disables the routing of a message signed with methods defined in the PROVBOOT WAP specification, based on the push source. |
For a detailed description of various policies, see Security Policies and Roles.
