WAP Push Headers

When a WAP connectivity document is sent to the device over the air through a WAP push, the WAP push message header enables the Push Router to determine what to do with the message. The WAP message header must include the content type.

The following example shows the bootstrap authentication-related header:

X-MS-Desc: Update WAP connection settings
Content-Type: application/vnd.wap.connectivity-wbxml; sec=0; mac=7894324

The Microsoft defined X-MS-Desc header, is an optional header that can be used to provide a description of the message to the user. A standard WAP server may not support this header.
