WAP Push OTA Protocol Features

Messages are sent from the Push Proxy Gateway (PPG) over the air to Microsoft® Windows® Smartphone and Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC GSM Phone Edition with the WAP Push over-the-air (OTA) Protocol. The device uses connectionless unsecure push; thus, a push session does not need to be established before a message can be delivered. For more detailed information about WAP Push OTA Protocol, see the WAP Push OTA Protocol Specification Version 17-Feb-2000, available from the WAP Forum at https://www.wapforum.org/.
