Changing the Name of the Machine

The user can change the given 15-character machine name or shorten it.

If the user chooses to set a machine name using the LCD with a space as one of the characters, for example, Machine Name, all characters after the space or blank will be ignored. In the example given, the machine name will be set to Machine.

A user can shorten an existing machine name using the LCD. For example, to shorten MachineName to Machine, use the keypad and navigate to the character N in MachineName and then use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to convert N to a blank or space character. The blank or space character occurs between 9 and A.
