Formatting OptionsWell-formatted code improves the maintainability and readability of your code. With Visual Studio 2005, you can customize even more settings for automatically formatting your code. These formatting options include braces, spacing, indentation, wrapping, and alignment. You have the choice of formatting all your code automatically, or just a particular section of your source code. You can view the whitespace character codes, convert between tabs and spaces, and remove any preceding white space from each line of code. Source code formatting is always a matter of personal preference. Visual Studio 2005 includes many new options to fully customize and control how your source code is formatted, and offers an increased number of display items whose appearance you may modify with custom fonts and colors.
