Load Testing – Network Impersonation Load tests in Visual Studio Team Edition for Testers provide development teams with a way to see how an application acts under various sorts of user load. Network impersonation simulates users accessing the application using a mix of network connections. This allows testers to simulate load more realistically. Each load test has a set range of parameters called a scenario that determines the conditions for the load test. When specifying the network mix for a load test, testers can specify various types of network connections, such as 28.8k modem, LAN, or T1, and the proportion of simulated users with that connection type.
