IDccManSink::OnLogIpAddr

A version of this page is also available for

Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3

4/8/2010

The OnLogIpAddr method indicates that a connection is established between the client application and the connection manager.

Syntax

HRESULT IDccManSink::OnLogIpAddr(
   DWORD dwIpAddr
);

Parameters

  • dwIpAddr
    Specifies the IP address of the Windows Embedded CE device.

Return Value

This method should always return NOERROR.

Remarks

The IDccManSink::OnLogIpAddr method is implemented by a client application and is called when the Windows Embedded CE connection manager has determined the IP address used it to connect to the Windows Embedded CE–based device.

Note

At this point, the connection is considered to be completely established.

This is a good time (during this notification) for your application to initialize the remote communications layers between the desktop computer and the Windows Embedded CE–based device by calling CeRapiInitEx.

To determine whether the platform supports this interface, see Determining Supported COM APIs.
