This method retrieves the value of the DisconnectedText property, the text displayed when the current control enters the disconnected state.

Syntax

HRESULT get_DisconnectedText(
  BSTR* DisconnectedText
);

Parameters

  • DisconnectedText
    [out] Pointer to the value of the DisconnectedText property. The default is a zero-length string.

Return Value

If the method succeeds, the return value is S_OK.

If it fails, the method returns a nonzero error code.

Remarks

This method allocates the memory for the buffer pointed to by pDisconnectedText parameter. C/C++ applications must call the SysFreeString function to free the memory. This is not required for Visual Basic clients.
