This interface defines one method to specify the interface used to allow network address translation (NAT) mappings. The RTC Client API supports the UPnP-enabled NATs by default.

When a NAT is in place and does not support UPnP functionality, the application must use this interface to provide a pointer to the interface that will supply the NAT mappings when required.

Methods

The following table shows the methods for this interface in vtable order. This is the order in which the compiler calls the methods. Like all COM interfaces, this interface inherits the methods for the IUnknown interface.

Method Description

IRTCSessionPortManagement::SetPortManager

Allows an application to specify a callback interface that allows the RTC Client API to obtain NAT mappings when required.

Obtaining a Pointer

This interface can be obtained by calling IUnknown::QueryInterface on the Session object that obtains the NAT mappings.

Currently, the RTC Client API supports using this interface only on sessions of type PC-to-phone.

Requirements

Header rtccore.h, rtccore.idl
