This macro removes an item from a tree-view control. You can use this macro, the TreeView_DeleteItemmacro, or send the TVM_DELETEITEM message explicitly.

Syntax

BOOL TreeView_DeleteAllItems( 
    hwnd 
);

Parameters

  • hwnd
    Handle to the tree view control.

Return Value

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.

Remarks

If the item label is being edited, the edit operation is canceled and the parent window receives the TVN_ENDLABELEDIT message. The parent window receives a TVN_DELETEITEM message when the item is removed.
