Configure Service Metadata Using IIS Manager

This topic has a procedure that describes how to enable or disable exposing service metadata using IIS Manager.

In the Connections pane (left pane), in the tree view, select the server, site, or application level at which you want to enable or disable this feature.
Right-click the scope (server, site, or application) node, point to Manage WCF and WF Services, and click Configure.

Tip

To configure this feature at a service level, select application containing the service from the tree view, double-click Services in the Details pane, select the service, right-click and then click Configure.
Switch to the General tab.
Select Enable metadata over HTTP to enable the feature or clear it to disable the feature.
