Called by ASP.NET to begin asynchronous request processing using the base HTTP context.

Parameters

    The state of the asynchronous object.

Return Value

Type: System.IAsyncResult
The status of the asynchronous call.

Remarks

If the controller that handles the request is not asynchronous, the request is processed synchronously.
