Returns a password input element for each property in the object that is represented by the specified expression, using the specified HTML attributes.

    The type of the model.
  • TProperty
    The type of the value.

  • htmlAttributes
    Type: System.Object
    An object that contains the HTML attributes to set for the element.

Return Value

Type: System.Web.Mvc.MvcHtmlString
An HTML input element whose type attribute is set to "password" for each property in the object that is represented by the specified expression, using the specified HTML attributes.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type HtmlHelper<TModel>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. The expression parameter is null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
