Usage Note
In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type String. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. Remarks
Before you try to convert, you can check whether the string can be converted to the Decimal type by calling the IsDecimal method, which returns true if the string value can be converted.
