Parameters

  • request
    Type: HttpRequestMessage

    The HttpRequestMessage with which to associate the trace. It may be null.

  • category
    Type: System.String

    The logical category of the trace.

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type ITraceWriter. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
