KeyVaultClientExtensions.EncryptDataAsync Method (KeyVaultClient, KeyBundle, String, Byte[])
Asynchronously encrypts a single block of data. The amount of data that may be encrypted is determined by the target key type and the encryption algorithm.

Parameters
client
Type: Microsoft.Azure.KeyVault.KeyVaultClientThe application, rather than the server application, that initiates a connection to a server.
keyBundle
Type: Microsoft.Azure.KeyVault.KeyBundleThe key bundle to use for encryption.
algorithm
Type: System.StringThe encryption algorithm. For more information on possible algorithm types, see JsonWebKeyEncryptionAlgorithm.
plaintext
Type: System.Byte[]The plain text to encrypt.
Return Value
Type: System.Threading.Tasks.Task<KeyOperationResult>
A single block of data to encrypt.
