Remarks
In order for an object to be unlocked, the appropriate DataCacheLockHandle must be provided to the unlocking methods (for example, PutAndUnlock and Unlock). The DataCacheLockHandle is provided by the locking method, GetAndLock.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
