This function removes a registered request for persistent notifications.
Syntax
HRESULT WINAPI RegistryStopNotification(
LPCTSTR pszName
);
Parameters
- pszName
String that identifies the change notification request.
Return Value
The following table shows the return values for this function.

S_OK |
Registered request for change notification is removed. |
E_INVALIDARG |
Invalid pszName. |
E_NOT_FOUND |
Cannot find notification request in the list. |
Remarks
Success indicates that the change notification request was removed. Failure does not cause any change.
Pending notifications in the client will be lost.
