IDataConnectionProperties.IsComplete Property

Retrieves a Boolean value indicating whether the current set of connection property values provides sufficient information to open a connection to the data source.

Namespace:   Microsoft.Data.ConnectionUI
Assembly:  Microsoft.Data.ConnectionUI (in Microsoft.Data.ConnectionUI.dll)

Syntax

bool IsComplete { get; }
property bool IsComplete {
    bool get();
}
abstract IsComplete : bool with get
ReadOnly Property IsComplete As Boolean

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean

true if the connection properties are complete; otherwise, false.

Remarks

Using this property to assure that a complete set of connection properties exists for a given connection does not assure that the property values themselves are correct. That is, while this method can ascertain that, for example, a required server property is set, a user name is valid, and that a password is entered, it can not validate that any of these values are in fact correct.

The Data Connection dialog box calls this property to determine whether the Accept button on this dialog box should be enabled.
