SettingMemberSecure Simple Type Simple Type

Defines values used to specify whether the value of a setting should be encrypted when stored to an .sdmdocument file and whether tools should log this value during manipulations such as installations.

Enumeration Values

The SettingMemberSecure simple type defines the following values.

Value Description
Always

The value of a setting should always be encrypted when stored in an .sdmdocument file.

PerInstance

The value of a setting should be encrypted on a per-instance basis when stored in an .sdmdocument file.

Never

The value of a setting should never be encrypted when stored in an .sdmdocument file.
