System Center Essentials Add SMTP Server Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to enter information about the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server that you want to add.

This dialog box contains the following elements.

  • SMTP server (FQDN)
    The fully qualified domain name for the server.
  • Port number
    The number of the port that the server uses.
  • Authentication method
    A drop-down list of available authentication methods.
